I am currently accepting service requests with services beginning in May of 2026!
I am Brittany J. Gimbrone, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and nationally certified school psychologist with fifteen years experience. It is my passion to support children and families who are already working hard to get their needs met and are looking for help making everything actually work in day-to-day life.
My approach is neurodivergence-affirming. I view differences like ADHD, autism, and other neurotypes as important parts of who a child is; not problems to fix. Together, we focus on building skills, reducing stress, and creating environments where your child can function more comfortably and successfully as themselves.
I specialize in working with highly verbal children who may be struggling with emotional regulation, behavior, or challenges that don’t always get fully addressed in structured settings. Many of the families I work with already have strong supports in place. My role is to come alongside those supports and help bridge the gap between plans and real life: at home, in the community, and across daily routines.
I take a collaborative, practical approach. We look at what’s working, what’s not, and how to make things feel more consistent and manageable. I focus on strategies that actually fit your family—not something that only works in a session—and I prioritize helping you feel confident using them.
When it’s helpful, I coordinate with teachers, therapists, and other providers so everyone is moving in the same direction. You don’t have to carry that communication alone.
On a personal note, I’m a mom to three girls, including one with ADHD, and I have ADHD myself. I understand firsthand how important it is to find approaches that are realistic, flexible, and respectful of how each person’s brain works. Our home is usually shared with two cats and a therapy dog in training, and when I have the chance, I love spending time outdoors hiking, gardening, or horseback riding.
My goal is simple: to help your child feel more understood and successful, and to help your family feel more supported, connected, and confident.
